Congratulations, Jeremy and Kelsie!

So, in about 45 minutes, my little brother and his wife will be in the St. George temple receiving their endowments. Around noon today, they're going to be sealed to each other, and their two-month-old son, for time and all eternity.

I probably shouldn't write much more, 'cause I'm getting all emotional, but I just thought I'd let everyone know. Launi and I decided not to go just in case Alex decides this is his big day, too.

When Jeremy got married last June, I wasn't really sure if they'd make it to the temple in a year, but today is their one-year-and-one-week anniversary. So, they did it. Families are great, aren't they?

Happier Post

I'm glad to report that although they're definitely not gone, my PUPPPS are doing a bit better...the ones on my ankles itch again, which means they're not being painful! Hooray! We also had a couple of visits tonight from some awesome friends who came bearing care packages. Much thanks to Joe, Angie, Greg, and Andrea! The food and stuff is very appreciated, but just getting to see you guys was the best! You really did make my day.

And thanks also to an amazing husband who takes care of me so well! He rubs the nasty cream on me, lets me keep my feet up all day, and last night he even stayed up with me and made me laugh when I couldn't sleep (Teen Girl Squad at 4:30 in the morning, anyone?). He's great at distracting me so I don't scratch. :) I don't know what I would do without such a wonderful man!!

Now for some fun pics! Josh put together our lovely new crib and cabinet set from Ikea, and I helped by sitting in my chair and taking pictures.

He worked diligently through many hardships and trials (mostly in the form of smashed thumbs!)

And here we see the [mostly] finished project. We still need to get our mattress and bedding. My mom said those lights were "so me." :)

What a lovely nursery/storage room! :)

PUPPPS

No, that's not a leper---that's me. :(

It all began at my 33 week appointment. I had a bumpy rash on my lower abdomen, and I asked my doctor about it. He laughed and said, "You're having pups!" I thought to myself, "Hmm, I was under the impression that I was having a baby."

PUPPPS stands for pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy syndrome (say that ten times fast). He explained to me that it's a very itchy rash that pregnant women sometimes get, that it wouldn't go away until I gave birth, and that I could use allergy creams and medicines for it but after a couple of weeks they probably wouldn't work anymore.

Here we are nearly four weeks later, and I'm actually looking forward to labor...anything to get rid of this thing! It has spread to my arms and legs, and I itch all over. It's worst, however, on my ankles--they don't itch, they just hurt. They swell up so bad that I can hardly walk (I've shifted from a waddle to a shuffle), and I wake up in the middle of the night because of the pain and can't get back to sleep for hours.

This is probably a lot more than you ever wanted to know, but I just needed to rant about it somewhere! Thanks for indulging my complaining...I feel slightly better. :) By the way, sorry if the picture grosses you out. Let's all pray for labor to come soon so that we can get some nicer pictures up here! :)
