We had Alex's two-month doctor's appointment this morning. He was all smiles and laughter! The doctor started giving me all this advice that I thought was a bit beyond my baby's age, and then all of the sudden she was looking at her papers and was like "Wait, he's only two months old?" She thought he was four months because of his size (that's our little chunk) and because she's never seen a two-month-old laugh so much. Apparently he's very socially advanced. Go Alex! :)
(By the way, thanks to Danielle and Maren for the sink idea...Alex stays content in there the whole time I'm getting ready. Hooray!)
Alex has been smiling and laughing at us a lot lately, but he likes to stop whenever the camera is around. :) So these are the best pictures of smiles we've been able to get thus far.

And this is Daddy showing off Alex's chubba cheeks!

Alex wouldn't cooperate and give me a smile in this video either, but he does show off his sweet talking skills (and you get to hear me making baby noises too! Joy!)
Well, technically I'm the only BYU Graduate in the picture, since Josh actually has one more semester and Alex is at least 18 years from admission. But we all celebrated graduation today! I got my BS in Marriage, Family, and Human Development (which you can see I have immediately put to good use by developing a human! ;) ) and Josh will have his BA in English Language/Editing come December. We have loved our time at the wonderful Brigham Young University. Go Cougars!
Okay, so I'm definitely not a fan of the Simpson's, but I saw this on Nick and Janelle's page and thought it was pretty funny. This is what we would look like if we lived in that bizarre world. :)
